FAQs
What are your ranch practices?
At Dreamers’ Ranch, we follow regenerative agriculture practices. We believe that healthy soil creates healthy animals, and in turn, creates healthy meat. Our cattle are lovingly raised, and grass-fed and finished. They live and rotationally graze on spacious, clean pastures their entire lives, enjoying natural sunlight and fresh air.
Do you ship for free?

How much freezer space do I need?
A rule of thumb is 30 to 35 LBS of beef needs 1 cubic foot of storage. Therefore:
- 1/8 Beef Share: requires approx. 1.5 - 2.0 cubic ft. of freezer space. This will fit in a regular fridge-freezer compartment. It will take about half the space, which will leave room for other goods. No big freezer needed.
- 1/4 Beef Share: requires approx. 3.5 - 4.0 cubic ft. of freezer space. This will fit in a small chest/upright freezer.
- 1/2 Beef Share: requires approx. 7 - 8 cubic ft. of freezer space. This will fit in a large chest/upright freezer.
How much beef do I need to last my family a month?
This depends on the number of people in your household and how often you enjoy beef on the menu. Our Half Beef is a popular choice for medium sized families (4 people or 2 adults/3 children) with about 200 lbs of beef - that breaks down to about 1 lb. of meat per person, per week.
Can I change the products included in the bundle?
Because cattle come in all shapes and sizes, our bundles are based on the available inventory from each cow. They cannot be customized, but we do provide approximate amounts of each item/cut in our product descriptions for reference. We often run promotions on specific cuts when available, so be sure to sign up for our newsletter so you don’t miss your chance to get special offers or individual cuts that you may have had your eye on.
How does your business contribute to the local community and economy?
In 2017, we started Dreamers’ Ranch, a community homestead that serves to create the conditions for young leaders to step into their potential through mentorship and programs on regenerative agriculture and entrepreneurship.
Our students learn the connection between the soil, our health, and our society–all while reproducing the goodness of regenerative farming for your table (sold right here at Dreamers’ Meat Market!). See our About Us page to learn more!
